A man with a clear head looks at life directly, realizes that everything is problematic, and feels himself lost. And this is the simple truth, that to be alive is to feel oneself lost. And he who accepts this has already begun to find himself, to be on solid ground.

The Artist’s Laboratory Theatre creates a space and gives the time to be lost. We believe that the scientific and artistic principles of exploration ask the same fundamental questions, and that through experimentation of story, we may further expand our understanding of the human experience. And we think theatre is the perfect lab for experimenting. We like the risk of being wrong and the danger of being right.
We Keep a Lab Journal.
To the right is a slideshow of Laboratory photos. These were taken during the construction of the lab and also during the Science Fair. Above is a link to our photo gallery page. Check it out and see all the things that we've been up to!

Darcy isn’t perfect. In a recent world broadcast posted to her profile, she admits, “I am not a responsible face booker. I am sorry if i never respond.” However, in typical Darcy fashion, she hooks you right back in with her over the top, flirtatious double entendres: “I still love you!” she promises. Promises! Darcy also has a healthy distrust of those who resemble pirates, but swears at passionate length that she still loves Somalia (passionately…). She is a devoted mother and tattoo admirer. She lives in Fayetteville with her husband and two children. She is usually pretty good about returning fan texts (479-551-xxxx) |

Jack is a Stage Manager in training, who has his hands in a few little projects and jobs but nothing extremely solid yet. Only having had five years of public schooling, one or two of home-schooling, and eventually just getting his GED, he has spent most of his years playing games and writing fiction, and maintains a high intellect. Thus, with his flexible schedule, creative mind, and willingness to learn, lead, or follow; he can conquer obstacles and win the hearts and minds of those around him. |

Kim is an MFA student in Creative Writing at University of Arkansas. Previously, she studied philosophy and dance at University of Oregon. She is easily excited by Britney Spears, her pug Daddy Warbucks, mathematicians, straws, and the color pink. She dislikes weather. While she wants to be a doll, she does her best to live in the meat-body she was given and succumb to the neuroplasticity. |
